What we did last week 7/25/25

6 Releases - 60 commits - 1 ephemeral environment test

Operational Notes:

This week saw us pushing out lots of polish around TCY, RFOX, the notification center, swapper quote sorting, and the mobile app among various bug fixes and feature improvements as wwll.

The mobile release went live and should be available in both Android and iOS versions. We’ve seen a little bit of quick polish issues related to UI in tool tips and screen size issues, if you see something wrong with the mobile app, please let us know in #polish or #operationpublicchat

Many features have gone live to production in the past two weeks, it feels that the production knob got turned to 11. We still care most about the quality of our product while we scale up our output, Ops will continue to keep a keen eye on prod enviroments and performance while engineering loads up on the next set of tasks and features for the app and gets the agentic service closer to prime time.

Can you feel the velocity?

General product check in. Strategy, notes, testing and hype.

First mobile release coming from a whole year of not paying giving the love it deserves. It’s now awesome and modern. We’re really proud of this one and polishing it’s rough edges will be an immediate focus. We now have a FOMO list for example, which feels so good. Seeing a quick grab of what’s multichain and trending feels magical.

Quote cards now have one spinner, thank sweet baby jibbles. Less chaos, more tags, and more info FTW.

Next up is continuing notifications that feel natural and making the app even faster by removing status screens. Notifications are getting more polish tickets and extending our view for the user experience everywhere.

Had a debrief with Kev on server side logic, agent workflows, too much code versus letting the agent do it’s thing, giving the agent more info, and just who the whole thing orchestrates. After a month of exploring seems like we’re putting gas by the stove. Letting em cook.

Process & Research & Team

First pre-grooming has been posted with a decent amount of response back on tickets. This is one step in improving quality upfront and resourcing upfront so we don’t waste efforts.

This makes the “to groom” list have much richer context and more pre thought upfront.

Hoping new release means a lot more volume on this here chart (true is mobile):

Spec updates:

Postponed a sprucing on the Spec Backlog but the most promising ideas worth picking up (should robots fail or we’re out of vision) is the sweeper as a mini app on Farcaster, using debank to power the backend of wallet assets, and thinking through the whole apps experience more like a landing page ( with a top nav etc).

Other feature process:

  • add a feature you’d like to see at shapeshift.canny.io and bring your friends for upvotes
    • Response KPI : :white_check_mark: couple of leaking support issues onto canny.
  • specs board give it a try for your own mini spec and answer the questions. you’d be surprised how much product thinking is in the template.
