Operational Notes
This week had a major Li.Fi exploit affect a few ShapeShift users. You can use Revoke cash’s too to see if you have any addresses that have approvals that could be exploited. It’s a good security reminder to audit your approvals and access the level of risk you are willing to expose your addresses to. Revoke Cash can be a great tool to use to perform any approval revocations of stale approvals.
Li.Fi was turned on again before the end of the week. Li.fi is reimbursing users that were affected. If you are reading this, are affected by the exploit, and have not gotten in touch with Li.Fi to pursue reimbursement you can start the process here: Users affected by LI.FI smart contract exploit dated July 16, 2024
Engineering and Operations are collaborating on refining and reviving regression tests to address the recent patch of bugs that has plagued the app for the past few weeks. We are hopeful to have a more streamlined process, defined priority list and testing guides for both smoke and regression testing.
