This week was still a week under the shadow of the THORChain hardfork. Lending services were down for most of the week (and new deposits are not being accepted) Please reach out to support if you have any issues with current THORChain positions in the ShapeShift app.
Lots of QOL improvements, dead code removed, and package bumps this week.
SAFE txids should now have proper acknowledgment flows for all features in the app. If you are a SAFE user, please check out the functionality in the app, your TX history and broadcast transaction flows should be much better than any other SAFE integrated interface.
Work to make the FOX farming contract evergreen has started, more work to fast follow.
EIP-712 support was finally brought over to Ledger in the app.
Solana epic ticketed and pushing. Neo out means that phantom took a little drag but we’ll pick that up next week.
As a result, this tees up some holistic wallet thoughts. We have to keep ourselves on the pulse of modern UX and knock out a few at some point. Candidates include rabby, trezor and then injected stuff like frame or vultisig’s or walletconnect ( which rebranded, lol).
Would be funny if we do all this and then Privvy just builds a typescript package for managing these. Hah.
Spec thoughts:
Evergreen FOX farming is in progress and as a result we built a section on a FOX page now, it’s fancy. Hell yeah. This should help people understand what the FOX token does and where to get it.
Gomes took the first step in fixing how we handle things as a safe user. this is compelling enough to dial in next miestone with them and get us as a premier swapper/asset manager for a gigantic ecosystem.
Markets page) — In progress. Hopefully this will get discovery smoothed out for new users of the platform and we can see what APY we can display.
The brand remains the same for the functionality (WalletConnect), they’re adding a “WalletGuide” label to projects which see 10MM connections monthly consistently. I guess to present the most used ones first and guide their users to theses wallets/dApps because supposedly they are safe(er)… which unfortunately will give even less visibility to smaller/growing projects than now
1/ We successfully launched our RFOX distribution and an exciting Pendle PT LBTC mixology thread—both really engaging initiatives. We will continue rolling out these mixology assets/threads once a week as we are actively looking to engage with the broader ecosystems of degens and leverage enjoyoors. No better way than to meet them where they are at by curating some awesome opportunities for them to enter and exit those positions on ShapeShift.

2/ Had an incredible presence at NFT Brazil where The Smith spoke on the main stage. Proud to have had Brazilian representation! We’ve been actively gathering user feedback from Yearn and other DeFi folks in attendance. @thesmith can speak more to this.
4/ Continued our Simple DeFi program, featuring curated assets to emphasize the simplicity and human connection of using ShapeShift.
5/ We’re making progress on four key upcoming features:
Phantom Wallet support
Solana support
Markets page
Evergreen Fox farm
Each of these features is being tracked with detailed breakdowns of obligations, graphics, timing, and communication strategies. We are currently conducting partner research for the Markets page and Solana to see how we can leverage the broader ecosystem for greater reach on launch.
