Revitalizing the Discord
With a new drive and focus towards community, you will start getting more notifications from the Announcements channel in the discord (Discord). It’s been great to chat with all the new folks entering the DAO and saying hello! Feel free to adjust your alerts notifications accordingly.

- [NEW] Launch date set for Feb 12 11:30am PST; announcing a countdown Monday. Date was pushed due to Base node not being a happy camper. Thanks big Kev for getting on it!

- Snapshot taken on the 20th (s/o PTT & Sapote for data).
- Marketing has 20m FWH tokens left to give to users to help onboard them and their friends. If you or a loved one would like some tokens to give to your degenerate friends, send a message in Marketing-public, and we can get you sorted with some tokens.
Keystore
- Went live Thursday 2/6/25
- In my mind, this is a great acquisition moment for THORWallet and THORSwap users (heard that their top wallets used on their platforms are keystore wallets). We have tinkered with some of the messaging to better cater to them.
Presearch Experiment
We are running a $250 experiment on Presearch to launch a display banner takeover on their explorer. (Creatives below)
Below is our mocked funnel for what we are expecting based on our historical conversion rates (to the right of connect wallet is our in-app funnel; left of that is all ads metrics). We have a $1 CPM deal with them (that means we pay $1 for every 1,000 people that view our advertisement). I would love to either disprove the data here or validate it with this experiment so we can use this information to continue refining marketing funnels and activations.
ETH Denver
Hoff is going to ETH Denver to represent ShapeShift. If you are in Denver and want to say hi or join him in his escapades to spread the ShapeShift gospel, feel free to reach out to me in the discord and we can chat more. We will not be doing a booth this year there.

Ideally I would love this to be a repeatable and scalable process. If you look at the CPT projection above and compare it to the projection here, Presearch has a higher CPT than conferences BUT a much lower CPM (makes sense bc only so many people can see one man).
Audience discovery and segmentation (Lets better understand our users and our competitors users)
TheSmith has been doing a great job using some of the new tooling to dive into competitors and high-traffic related sites to build out audience demographics and personas to help us understand and narrow down scope when marketing. Check out his WIP doc below.
Listings + Translations

The biggest Win here is us getting listed in the Base Ecosystem Explorer. Big ups for taking the initiative to do that.
Currently evaluating lift/reward for paying (small amounts <$250) of money to be listed in places like Trust Wallet, etc. Going to go back to the funnels/audience parts above to help make more educated and cost-effective decisions.
