Week of 11/8/24 - 3 Releases - 18 Commits

Operational Notes:

This week had a slew of UI improvements to filters in the markets page.

Some bug fixes around MetaMask snap accounts and swapper improvements.

Limit orders work is very close to being in a future release. 1.705.0 is currently still being tested by Ops as it has some of the major changes related to Limit orders in it.

Big stuff coming imminently.

General & Strategy

So many things in flight right now which I noted in Office hours yesterday. The end of the year is looking bright with this list:

  • Jupiter for solana
  • Limit orders (WIP)
  • rFOX LP experience
  • a new wallet flow (with keystore support and derivation paths accounted for)
  • swapper updates
  • exposing the swapper without a wallet connect (WIP)

Process

Ahead of the curve features in discovery:

The sweeper spec enters discovery. Really tempting looking at Solana. It’s premium shitters season which means sweeping out of all accumulated schizo assets is a very valuable mini-app. Out of scope from the workshop but still. Tempting.

Staring at more degenerate chat ideas that keep coming up and feeling vindicated. 0xean is a true degenerate whisperer.

Bridging aggregation. This sucks but there are whispers of new things coming online that might have good APIs.

a SAFE app. Still holding a candle here. Might work out, might not. They have a thing in Devcon, sent to relevant on the ground peeps.
