Release Thread for the week of 4/19/24

Week of 4/19/24 - 3 Releases - 15 Commits

Operational Notes

A bug ticket escalated via support related to Thorchain repayments became a rabbit hole of reversions through the week this week. There are some edge cases in borrow that have been hard to recreate with the time locks of deposits that have made detecting and recreating some of these bugs more difficult.
Bug related to Arbitum Nova chain support ghost chain option finally addressed this week.
We are continually working on warning to users around slippage and unexpected results of actions taken in thor features. See improved warning screens for not enough funds for withdrawal and improvements to blocking users from wrecking themselves with slippage.

Now Nodes reliability is still questionable at times and had us cut back over to our blockbook instance while the team addresses latency issues.
Ops will continue to post new bugs discovered while doing regression tests between deployment tests.

Are you ready for FOX on Arbitrum? Good because uh, that’s it. Some kind centralized FOX experimented, bridged, and the token works over there (deterministically). Plans in the works to move colony over (thanks GK), DFC for any token incentives, and ENG for rFOX deployment. Alignment güd.

We’re also gonna get more modal alignment and start finishing up long tail in parallel.

Nice cleanup on spec board. Moving things into the proper backlog and even closer to what’s on Github ratio now at 3; balanced like all things should be.
