What we did this week - 3/21/25

What went out this week

6 Releases - 44 commits

Operational Notes:

In our goal to Rambo the app, the team has been focused on cleaning up a lot of polish issues related to swapper, quotes, sorting, limit orders, and the wallet creation/connection flow.

We lost Chatwoot in app and quickly returned it.

Some focus was also spent on optimizing mixpanel as we attempt to make the tracking there more of a first class citizen.

We mat have a few more weeks of polish as we make sure the app hums and executes quickly before digging deeper into new features.

General & Strategy

The polish-ening begins, some of these involve such existential crises we have to take a breather and rethink the entire experience. Case in point TX history and the Defi tab holding everything up (solution is likely lazy loading). This is really hard execution, but emerging from the flames is a clear theme:

  • the app is just a swapper with some nice bells and whistles.

A theme seems small but it helps clarify more than it seems. Allowing product thinking across polish and specced out feature lists. It means we can solve for a long standing friction point around native wallet vs connected one vs hardware. Should also help further refinements.

Process & Research

Market research doc in progress; not quite done. High level structure is qualitative, some market research posts in the space, tooling, and a swing at what we should measure beyond the POC.

Kicking off the POC scope next week so we can unblock devs for spikes and next steps.
