What we did this week 4/18/25

6 Releases - 29 commits - 1 ephemeral environment

Operational Notes:

Engineering and Product are busy building features behind a flag (notification center, relay)

lots more polish pushed on swapper fixes, mm snap fixes, UI improvements and QOL code improvements and clean up.

Lots of contributors out on holiday/vacation this next week, assuming a quiet week because of it.

Process & Research & Team

Timeline view shipped, milestones added. Along the way we rediscovered Linear. So I got a doc for what to expect with that software. What problems it solves, how it increases coordination, and finishing up plugging how/when to use versus github. Linear is cool because it makes interactions that are hard to surface in github feel more natural. Following projects is much easier too, for cross workstreams.

Here is a sneak peak of a cycle using only polish tickets. We can actually measure how overwhelmed we are and adjust. Maybe, just maybe, even see parallel projects quantified.

Speaking of we cleaned up the polish channel, feels good seeing all the checkmarks in those threads.

Agent has UI components, a stack, and starter repo going. Excited for iterations there and evaluators.

Spec updates:

  • Spec Ratio is at: 2.28
    • Theoretically linear will make us a better icebox.
